Dr. Tepper was recently interviewed on Sacramento’s CBS 13 tv about why he’s making the change to concierge medicine. Citing the frustrations of ever-increasing paperwork and insurance forms, Dr. Tepper told the reporter that patients deserve more of his time than his laptop does. Patient Janeece Sargis said: “It’s like hitting the motherlode when you get an appointment with Dr. Tepper, he’s very busy.” The change will be evident In his new concierge practice, according to Dr. Tepper, with patient benefits including same-day appointments, extended visits, more time for house calls, and a focus on preventive and personalized care.
